Data Labeling Is the New Power in AI and Someone is Influencing What It Sees

Every label tells AI what matters, but who’s telling AI what label matters?

In today’s race to build smarter and more capable AI, we hear about data labeling as if it’s just a technical task. Someone called an annotator looks at an image, a sentence, or a sound, and tags it:
“This is a cat.”
“This is a tree.”
“This is happy.”
“This is angry.”
